What is sustainable architecture?

Sustainable Architecture involves the attempt to reduce the collective environmental impacts during the production of building components, during the construction process, as well as during the lifecycle of the building. It acknowledges that. As practitioners of Sustainable Design, we believe that our work should have a overall positive impact on our environment.

About LEED:

The United States Green Building Council has developed the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification process for buildings and sites to provide third party oversight and recognition for superior work in the field of architectural design, planning and construction. At BMA we have three LEED Accredited design professionals trained to apply the principles of and to administer the LEED process.
