MT Associates, a BMA client for many years, is a developer and operator of a convenience store chain and Dunkin' Donuts franchise. After acquiring a site on what is often referred to as the Million Dollar Mile in Queensbury, New York, BMA is designing a new prototype store. The buildings exterior design uses a material palette of masonry, steel and glass carefully blended to achieve an aesthetic that reflects historic features with modern detailing. The interior space is designed to express the steel bar joist and frame structure accented with color, drop soffits, signage and lighting. The project has received all permits, and construction is pending.
