BMA was hired by Hand Motors of Manchester to develop a new “state of the art” service center for its existing car dealership which is located in the flood plain. This posed a design challenge since the new building floor elevation needed to be six feet above the existing building yet directly adjacent to it. BMA developed a solution that met the design program and blended the new 27,000 SF service building with the existing facility which was completely renovated. The new building includes 12 service bays, a parts department, locker room and break area, customer service area and offices. The collision repair center was expanded in the existing building and includes a new high-tech paint booth and prep area.
